How I set up your AI chat

    Day 0 — Discovery call & use cases

    We clarify: which 5-10 questions do you get most often? What should visitors be able to book or request directly? Where must the chat NOT answer (sensitive topics, legally tricky cases)? Fixed-price offer within 24 hours.

    Week 1 — Build the knowledge base

    I extract and structure your content: website copy, product data, FAQ, price lists, terms. Everything is chunked and fed into a vector database (semantic search). You get an overview of what the chat actually "knows".

    Day 7-10 — Widget integration & branding

    The chat widget is added to your website — colors, avatar, welcome message, position. GDPR consent banner cleanly configured. You click through, try questions, give feedback.

    Day 14 — Live test & tweaking

    We test standard questions, edge cases and the lead-capture flow together. Where the chat is weak, I add knowledge or system-prompt instructions. Only then does it go live.

What does an AI chat cost — and what is included in the monthly price?
Three packages: Basic 149 €/month (FAQ bot, static knowledge base), Pro 249 €/month (extended knowledge base, lead capture, monthly updates), Enterprise 449 €/month (tool-use for bookings/CRM, multilingual, custom adjustments). Included in the monthly price: LLM costs (Anthropic Claude), knowledge base hosting, monitoring, monthly reports and minor knowledge updates. Initial setup is a one-time fixed price after the discovery call.
Which language model do you use — and is my customer data used for training?
Default: Anthropic Claude (Sonnet for Pro/Enterprise, Haiku for Basic). A DPA with Anthropic explicitly excludes using customer data for training — per Anthropic policy, conversations are retained for up to 30 days and are not used to train models. If you need strictly EU-only, I can also use Mistral (hosted in France) — at a premium, since it's slightly less capable than Claude.
What about GDPR and data protection?
The knowledge base (vector database, conversation logs) lives on EU servers in a self-hosted Supabase instance. The LLM (Anthropic Claude) runs in US data centers — Schrems II handled via Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Cookie banner for the chat widget with an explicit toggle. You get ready-to-adopt blocks for your privacy policy. Anthropic commercial terms with DPA annex.
How long does setup take from idea to live?
10-14 days for Basic, 2-3 weeks for Pro, 3-4 weeks for Enterprise. Realistic — meaning including your feedback rounds and test runs. If your content is already well structured (clean FAQ, tidy product catalog), it goes faster. If a lot still has to be extracted from emails and heads, plan for more time.
What happens if the chat says something wrong?
Three layers of protection. First: the chat answers only from your knowledge base, not "from the internet" — hallucinations are massively reduced. Second: a fallback behavior ("I can't give you a reliable answer on this — I'll hand it over to a human") for uncertain questions. Third: I monitor the conversations and can correct wrong answers within 24 hours. For critical topics (legal, medical, tax) I tell you up front what the chat is not allowed to answer.
Where do the captured leads go?
Wherever you want. Default: Telegram bot into your private chat (instant notification on your phone) plus a database entry. Optional: HubSpot, Pipedrive, Mailerlite, ActiveCampaign, Brevo, Notion, Airtable, Google Sheets. Webhook integration with n8n or Zapier is possible. Written into the contract: the lead data belongs to you.
Can I install the chat on WordPress, Shopify or a custom site?
Yes. The widget is a single JavaScript snippet (~30 KB) that works on any platform — WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, custom Astro/Next.js/React. Performance impact is minimal: the script loads deferred and does not block the initial page render. More on custom sites: /en/websites.
What if I do not need the chat anymore in a year?
You cancel monthly — no lock-in contracts. On the way out you get an export of all captured leads and conversations (CSV), the structured knowledge base as a markdown dump, and the widget snippet keeps working until you remove it from your site yourself. Nothing gets "lost" because you left.
